This wiki site was formed after a group of artists removed their work from the Contemporary Art Center (CAC) of New Orleans, LA in March and April of 2012 in hopes of exposing the extreme dysfunction and ineffective leadership within the organization that caused the recent departure of the visual art director Amy Mackie and two of her staff. This site is dedicated to giving all artists a voice at the CAC where often their pleas are ignored or minimized. As a wiki, it encourages a free and open public discourse and was built so that all sides of the debate surrounding the CAC could be voiced.
